This glass features an Orca Whale swimming and was made in honor of White Gladis an Orca living around the Iberian Peninsula who had started sinking yachts and appeared to be “teaching others to do the same”, they believe she started sinking boats after sustaining an injury from one. $5 from each glass will go directly to an organization that works to create MPA’s or Marine Protected Areas, so whales like Gladis can live boat free lives.

Each glass is first hand blown and fire polished. Then the animals are hand drawn onto the glass through the process of engraving with diamond tipped tools. Each animal drawn is first drawn by Kathleen and she references these drawings when redrawing them onto the glass. Each glass is engraved one at a time so sets will vary slightly. These are limited run glasses each drawing will be produced onto glasses only 10 times. Glasses are dishwasher safe but not recommended for hot liquid.
